The Pure Theatre CR90 is its largest retractable ceiling mount, designed to conceal large specialist projectors in high-end installations.

The Pure Theatre CR90 Projector Lift is the largest model in Pure Theatre’s ceiling-recessed CR range, designed specifically for large specialist projectors and high-end home cinema installations. It provides a discreet way to conceal substantial projection equipment completely within the ceiling when it is not in use.

At the touch of a button, the motorised mechanism lowers the projector smoothly into its operating position. When viewing is finished, the projector retracts back into the ceiling, leaving a clean and uncluttered room.

The CR90 can accommodate projectors up to 550 × 900 × 230 mm and supports a projector weighing up to 70 kg, making it particularly suitable for larger high-performance projectors that cannot be accommodated by smaller ceiling lifts.

Its aluminium construction, 24V DC linear actuator system and integrated control electronics are designed for precise operation, with Pure Theatre specifying an operating noise level of approximately 35 dB.

For a fully automated cinema installation, the CR90 can be integrated with the wider AV/control system so that the projector lift and motorised projection screen can operate as part of the cinema sequence. Pure Theatre states that its lifts work with control systems.

Technical specifications

Pure Theatre also specifies 10-inch joists, with 985 mm between joists, and says 780 mm width is required above the plasterboard cut-out.
