PrimaLuna EVO 200 Valve Preamplifier
The PrimaLuna EVO 200 Valve Preamplifier is a premium stereo valve preamplifier designed to deliver exceptional musical detail, natural tonal richness and an expansive soundstage.
Combining traditional valve technology with carefully engineered modern components, the EVO 200 provides a refined analogue control centre for high-performance two-channel hi-fi systems.
Featuring four 12AU7 signal valves, two 5AR4 rectifier valves, premium transformers and traditional point-to-point wiring, the EVO 200 offers the musical qualities associated with valve amplification while providing the flexibility required for contemporary hi-fi systems.
Designed to partner a compatible separate power amplifier, it is particularly suitable for dedicated listening rooms, premium stereo systems and audiophile music installations.
Premium Valve Preamplification
The EVO 200 uses four 12AU7 valves in its analogue audio circuitry.
Its carefully engineered design is intended to reproduce music with natural vocals, excellent instrumental separation and a spacious stereo presentation.
The preamplifier provides 10dB of gain and a nominal output of 2V per channel.
Valve-Rectified Power Supply
Two 5AR4 rectifier valves form part of the EVO 200’s power supply.
This traditional valve-rectified design is combined with premium power supply components and carefully selected transformers.

Dual Stereo Preamplifier Outputs

These can be useful for more complex stereo system configurations, subject to the input requirements of the connected components.
A separate fixed-level RCA tape output is also provided.
Optional Moving-Magnet Phono Stage
The EVO 200 is compatible with PrimaLuna’s optional PhonoLogue EVO moving-magnet phono module.
Alternatively, a separate external phono preamplifier can be connected to a standard RCA input.
The optional phono module is not included as standard.
Remote-Controlled Operation
