SONIK 5
The DALI SONIK 5 is a slim, compact floorstanding loudspeaker designed to deliver powerful, detailed Hi-Fi performance without requiring the space of a larger floorstander.
Designed particularly for small to medium-sized rooms, the SONIK 5 combines two 5¼-inch SMC™ Clarity Cone™ low/mid-frequency drivers with a 29 mm low-loss soft-dome tweeter, delivering an engaging combination of controlled bass, natural midrange and detailed high frequencies.
With a frequency range extending from 39 Hz to 26 kHz, 88 dB sensitivity and a recommended amplifier range of 30–150 watts, the SONIK 5 can form the heart of a high-quality stereo music system or serve as the front left and right speakers in a premium home cinema installation.
Despite its floorstanding design, the SONIK 5 remains impressively compact. Measuring just 826 × 249 × 270 mm (H × W × D) and weighing approximately 10.8 kg per speaker, it is an excellent choice where you want the scale and presence of a floorstander without large cabinets dominating the room.
For home cinema, the SONIK 5 can be combined with the DALI SONIK CINEMA LCR, SONIK ON-WALL and other models from the SONIK range to create a tonally matched multichannel or Dolby Atmos system.

Clarity Cone™ Technology paper and wood fibre cones
Inspired by the DALI KORE technology, SONIK bass and midrange drivers feature Clarity Cone™ paper and wood fibre cones lightweight rigidity and superior resonance control. The Clarity Cone™ ensures a coherent and natural handover from driver to driver. The result is a more realistic, uncoloured upper midrange and seamless transition to the tweeter.
LOW DISTORTION, MORE DETAILS
SMC™ Essential Magnet System
The SONIK series uses our patented SMC™ magnet material to reduce distortion and improve linearity. A ferrite ring surrounds a hybrid iron-SMC™ pole piece, placing SMC™ directly in the voice coil’s working zone. This minimises hysteresis and eddy currents, delivering cleaner, more detailed and relaxed midrange performance.
