Description
The Advance Paris X-Stream 9 is a versatile high-quality universal music source that brings together a network streamer, CD player, DAC, FM/DAB/DAB+ tuner and USB audio interface in a single full-size Hi-Fi component.
Its network player provides access to streaming services including Spotify and Qobuz, internet radio and music stored on computers or network drives. It supports Spotify Connect, AirPlay and DLNA, with control available through the Advance PlayStream app.
For physical music collections, the integrated CD mechanism supports CD, CD-R/RW and CD-DA, including MP3/WMA playback. A dedicated asynchronous USB-B XMOS input also allows a PC or Mac to be connected directly for high-resolution digital playback.
The X-Stream 9 can also function as a standalone DAC for other digital sources, providing three optical and two coaxial digital inputs. Both balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA analogue outputs are provided, together with optical and coaxial digital outputs. The analogue output can be configured as either fixed or variable.
Bluetooth can be added using an optional Advance Paris X-FTB01 or X-FTB02 Bluetooth receiver, allowing the unit to be expanded without replacing the main source component.
At Riverside HiFi, we can match the X-Stream 9 with an Advance Paris or alternative integrated amplifier, loudspeakers and suitable interconnects to create a complete music system.
