Description
A10 Classic
The Advance Paris A10 Classic is a powerful hybrid integrated amplifier that combines valve-based preamplification with high-current solid-state power amplification, delivering the warmth and musical character associated with valves together with the control required to drive demanding loudspeakers.
At the heart of the A10 Classic’s preamplifier section are two valves, visible through the front panel, while its substantial power-amplifier section delivers approximately 130 watts per channel into 8 ohms. The amplifier also incorporates Advance Paris’s distinctive illuminated VU meters.
The A10 Classic is designed as the centre of a comprehensive Hi-Fi system, with an extensive selection of analogue and digital connections. It includes balanced XLR and RCA analogue connectivity, digital optical and coaxial inputs, USB audio, HDMI ARC, plus a dedicated phono input for turntables.
Its integrated DAC allows digital sources to be connected directly, while pre-out and subwoofer connectivity provide flexibility for system expansion. Bluetooth can also be added using Advance Paris’s optional Bluetooth modules.
This combination of substantial amplification, valve preamplification and extensive connectivity makes the A10 Classic particularly attractive for customers who want the character of a hybrid amplifier without having to build a system from multiple separate components.
At Riverside HiFi, we can match the Advance Paris A10 Classic with suitable loudspeakers, turntables, streamers, CD players and cabling to create a complete two-channel Hi-Fi system.

THE MUSICAL OBVIOUS
With our new A10 CLASSIC amplifier, our aim was to offer an audiophile integrated amplifier inspired by the famous X-i1100, acclaimed for its musicality and liveliness.
The A10 is fully future-proofed and easy to use. While its classic design remains timeless, it combines an ECC81/12AT7 tube preamplifier with a 2x130W class AB push-pull amplifier.
In short, the best of both worlds!
Modernity is also on display, thanks to a microprocessor that manages all the functions called up by the encoder: a long or short press accesses the menus.
We can scroll through the inputs: 6 analog on RCA with an MM phono with three capacitance settings (100, 200, 320 pf), a balanced line on XLR, 5 digital including 3 optical, an S / PDIF and a USB audio, plus a connector for an aptX XFTB01 or XFTB02 bluetooth receiver (optional).
A USB-A socket accepts MP3 audio files from a portable music player or USB memory stick. Original: two HDMI sockets, one for a DVD to benefit from the A10’s audio signal quality, and an HDMI ARC socket to connect a CEC protocol display, can be activated in the system configuration menu.
Also shown here are system information, speaker selection (A, B or A+B), loudness, bass, treble or bypass settings, and auto sleep (or not) from 5 to 90 min.
The trigger In/Out input switches the A10 on and off remotely, or from the A10 to another device connected via the minijacks.
The A10 offers the possibility of connecting two subwoofers. A Pre-Out output allows connection of an additional power amp.
A fixed Rec Out output is intended for a cassette, MD or other type of recorder.
At the rear, the High Bias switch activates Class A polarization on the first watts of the power stage.
The A10 is a real winner, and can even hold its own against much more ambitious and expensive models.
A great success in prospect!
